The following terms and conditions apply to all orders and transactions conducted on the ‘Noel Grimley Electrics Ltd’ website. Please read them carefully as we want to ensure that you fully understand the whole process from your order to delivery/collection and thereafter. We will treat each order you place as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions. We may amend these terms and conditions at any time. They do not affect your statutory rights. Every time you make a purchase through our website you will be required to accept our Terms and Conditions so to ensure your online shopping experience meets expectations, we would ask you to take a few minutes and read on.
Contract
Once an order is submitted and accepted, a contract is created: a binding sale contract between the retailer and the customer. At this point you will receive notification via email with your web order reservation number confirming your order and detailing your delivery or collection arrangements. Whilst we take the utmost care to ensure all details, descriptions and prices are correct at time of order mistakes can happen and incorrect information can be displayed (e.g. the price, description, or availability of a product you have ordered) Should this occur we will act immediately by cancelling your order, notifying you of the errors and refunding and charges already made.
Prices & Payment
All our prices are in UK pounds. The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order, the delivery charge (if any), plus any additional services you choose e.g. premium delivery or installation. You’ll see all these in your Shopping Basket before you submit an order. Payment is deducted once an order is submitted.
Your credit card details are verified by Sage Pay secure gateway, which means that we do not have access to your credit card details at any point during the payment process.
We may use certain information that you provide to ensure that you are who you say you are. This will help to protect you, and use, from fraudulent activities.
Savers Club
To open a Savers account, you must be a resident of Northern Ireland/Republic of Ireland and be at least 18 years old.
To activate your account, you must come instore and make a payment no less than £10.00.
Once this has been set up you and your account is open, you can add to your balance either in store or over the phone by card. You can choose how much and how often you will pay into your Savers account. If you have a goal in mind, we can create a payment plan for you.
No credit checks are carried out when opening a Savers account.
We recommend depositing no less than every 3 months to keep your account open and active.
If you account has had no activity over a period of 6 months, we will close it and issue you with a credit note.
In the event of needing to withdraw your savings, this has to be refunded as it was paid, cash for cash and if it was paid by card, it must be the same card that made the original payments. If the original payment card is unavailable, we will issue the amount as store credit. ID must be provided for any withdrawals.
The balance of your account can only be redeemed against products in Noel Grimley Electrics.
Your savers balance can be transferred to a finance agreement to reduce the cost of your agreement.
Your savers balance can be used as part payment towards a product but please be aware items must be paid in full to secure them.
All personal information is contained as per requirements of our GDPR policy.
Delivery
At present our delivery services are only available within Northern Ireland.
Our aim is to deliver your goods within 2-3 workings days of your order being accepted providing the itwm is in stock. Where the item has to be ordered into stock by ourselves we aim to deliver within 14 days. On occassions certains products may be out of stock from our suppliers which will ultimely lengthen desired delivery times. However we will always update you throughout the order process either by email or telephone.
Any items ordered will be delivered to the billing address as specified by you at the time of purchase. A valid signature is required upon delivery; at this point you will become responsible for the goods.
We will always do our best to always meet our delivery times, however there may arise an occasion when an item is out of stock or other unforeseen circumstances may cause a delay. Should this happen we will contact you immediately with an estimated delivery time; should this time be unsatisfactory we will offer you a full refund.
We also offer a recycling on delivery service with prices starting from just £5.00. For this fee we will take your old appliance away as well as disposing of any packaging your new delivery comes in. However, we can only take for recycling an appliance that’s disconnected and (if it’s a built-in model) is unfixed from your units.
IMPORTANT
It is your responsibility to check your goods upon delivery for shortages or damages and to make the delivery driver aware of any issues with your delivery. Any damage must be reported to us by phone or e-mail within 3 days of delivery.
Cancellation & Returns
If you wish to cancel your order prior to despatch, you must contact us either by phone or email.
If for whatever reason you change your mind and would like to return your order after delivery, we’re happy to offer a refund or exchange providing the goods are returned unused, unopened, in original condition, complete with all packaging, in an "as new" condition and all accessories and leads including any free gifts, less any delivery and/or collection charges, this option is available for 14 days after delivery.
In the event where the item(s) purchased are not normally held in stock but have been specifically ordered at the request of the customer we can charge up to a 25% restocking fee.
Faulty Goods
In the unlikely event that your product develops a fault within 28 days of receipt, please contact us to arrange return and inspection. We will usually exchange or refund the item provided it is still 'as new' and the fault has not been caused by accident, misuse, or neglect.
